Why I Paint…
I paint and write poetry to see at a deeper level. To let the unconscious speak through creativity. My world expands as I create visual expressions of experience. The perceptions and associations in our lives. My reaction to what feels multi dimensional or meaningful.
I have often felt inspired by art shows and museums. My mother worked in pastels and oils with great skill. She inspired me as a child and later as I exhibited my watercolour pieces in shows.
